Once the Crystal Waters spa mold has been selected, a high quality sheet of acrylic is positioned over the mold and the acrylic is heated to a precise temperature.

The acrylic is then brought down to the mold and vacuum formed to the surface of the spa mold. This is the top layer of a triple layer Perma-Bond construction process.

The spa now requires a layer of resin skincoat and fiberglass reinforcement, to make up the three layers of the Perma-Bond construction process.

<<Step 5
The spa shell and mold are removed from the vacuum former and the shell is allowed to cool. The shell is then lifted from the mold and given a thorough inspection.

When the spa shell is quality approved, it is then signed off and transported to the glassing department. Each shell receives two inspections before reinforcing begins.
