Once the Crystal Waters spa mold has been selected, a high quality
sheet of acrylic is positioned over the mold and the acrylic
is heated to a precise temperature.

The acrylic is then brought down to the mold and vacuum formed
to the surface of the spa mold. This is the top layer of a triple
layer Perma-Bond construction process.

The spa now requires a layer of resin skincoat and fiberglass
reinforcement, to make up the three layers of the Perma-Bond
construction process.

The spa shell and mold are removed from the vacuum former and
the shell is allowed to cool. The shell is then lifted from
the mold and given a thorough inspection.

When the spa shell is quality approved, it is then signed off
and transported to the glassing department. Each shell receives
two inspections before reinforcing begins. |
